The eleven member Board of Health for the Peterborough County-City Health Unit is comprised of municipal, provincial and first nation representatives.
Board meetings take place on the second Wednesday of each month, with the exception of July and August, starting at 4:45 pm or as otherwise agreed by the members. The meetings, held at 10 Hospital Drive, Peterborough (unless indicated otherwise on the agenda), are open to the public.

Public Input Process for Board of Health Meetings
The Board of Health is committed to involving the community in determining what public health programs and services are needed in Peterborough County and City. People are encouraged to speak with health unit staff about their health issues and concerns. Individuals and groups can also present their issues or concerns directly to the Board of Health. If you wish to present information to the Board, a written request must be sent to the Chairperson of the Board up to a minimum of twenty four hours before the start of the meeting. This can be done via email (atanna@pcchu.ca), fax (705-743-1810) or dropped off at 10 Hospital Drive, Peterborough.
The Chairperson of the Board shall decide whether the delegation may make a presentation at a meeting and accordingly, shall inform the Medical Officer of Health whether to add the item to the agenda. Presentations shall not exceed ten minutes except when answering questions posed by the Chairperson for clarification.
