Tobacco Free Living - Counseling

Choose To BeThe Peterborough County-City Health Unit is pleased to announce our new Health Canada Funded program: Choose to Be Smoke Free, providing free, confidential, intensive tobacco cessation counselling from a Public Health Nurse trained in smoking cessation.

Clients will receive:
·   help developing a personalized quit plan
·   support, encouragement, and new skills for living without tobacco
·   information about stop-smoking medications and nicotine replacement therapy

Initial appointments will last approximately 45 minutes.  Clients can call the Health Unit at 743-1000 ext.330 to set-up an appointment with a Public Health Nurse.
