Mocktail Recipe for September

Responsible party hosts offer their guests non-alcoholic drink choices to reduce alcohol-related problems.  Here's a delicious mocktail recipe to try featuring fresh Ontario peaches.  It's sure to be a winner with your guests!

"Mock Peach Daiquiri"
 

1 1/2 cups
6
2/3 cup
1/4 tsp
2 tsp
1 tbsp
fresh peaches, peeled & sliced*
ice cubes
milk
artificial rum flavouring
lemon juice
white sugar 
(or sweeten to taste)
375 mL
6
150 mL
1/4 tsp
2 tsp
15 mL

peaches*Fresh peaches can be replaced with canned. Use 1 1/2 cups (375 ml) of drained, canned peaches reserving juice; sweeten to taste with reserved peach juice.

Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Serve immediately. Makes 2 servings.
