Tips for School Projects
Explore the resources at your school or local public library, such as reference books and CDROMs. The Internet should not be your only source of information.
Try searching periodical databases like CBCA (Canadian Business and Current Affairs) or Expanded Academic at your school or local public library to find articles. Some databases, such as CBCA, provide the full text of the article.
Plan the terms to use when searching a topic. It is a good idea to use more than one way of expressing a term or an idea when searching.
Examine web sites exhaustively! Many web sites have full text documents, but it's easy to miss them. Always check out hyperlinks to publications or site maps. And remember to look at listed links.
