Pregnancy - School For Young Moms
Work Towards High School Completion

The School for Young Moms supports pregnant teens and mothers under the age of 21 to continue their high school education and develop their parenting skills while receiving onsite care for their infants. Young women achieve these outcomes with the assistance of professional staff and volunteers from a variety of community organizations, including the Health Unit.



While at the School for Young Moms, you will have the chance to:

  • Earn high school credits
  • Work at your own pace
  • Receive help from the teacher
  • Attend Monday to Friday throughout the school year
  • Have your own timetable
  • Access secondary school resources and programs

Support for Your Baby

  • Babies are cared for by trained resource moms in a playroom beside the classroom
  • You can feed, change and care for your baby whenever you like
  • Childcare is available Monday to Friday, during the school year

Trinity United Church
360 Reid Street (downstairs)

When:
Monday to Thursday 9:00 am to 2:00 pm
Fridays 9:00 am to 1:00 pm
