Smart Moves...You Can Prevent a Fall
Taking action under these four key areas can help you reduce the risk and to continue to lead an active life:
- Plan ahead. Talk to your health care provider and family about osteoporosis and fall prevention.
- Be active. Exercise every day to keep your muscles and bones in good condition.
- Look first. Be aware of your surroundings and hazards that might cause a fall both indoors and outdoors.
- Think wisely. When taking medications, manage fall risks.
