Injury Prevention - Introduction

Many injuries are predictable and preventable. Injuries are the leading cause of death and hospitalization of Canadians under 20 years of age. The most common causes of childhood injuries include: motor vehicle collisions, falls, poisoning, bicycle and pedestrian injuries, fires and burns, and drowning.

Our goal is to help children and their families see the risks, reduce the risks and manage the risks in their everyday lives.
