Cancer Prevention - Introduction
The incidence of cancer in Ontario is on the rise, in part attributable to an aging population. The personal, social and economic costs, can be reduced, since many forms of cancer are preventable. Cancer prevention is our best opportunity to promote health and save lives.
Be Aware. Be Proactive. Reduce Cancer Risk.
At least half of all cancers can be prevented through healthy living. Take action to reduce your risks, have a conversation with your health care provider about the right screening tests for you!
